Rev. Danette Renee Hall, 54, passed away peacefully with her family at her side in Fishers, Indiana on April 27, 2017. She was born on January 23, 1963 in Paulding, Ohio to Lennis and Lula (Burkley) Saylor.  She was a 1981 graduate of Wayne Trace High School.  She went on to graduate from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a degree in elementary education.

On July 20, 1991, she married Timothy Alan Hall.  Together, they have three children.  Danette dedicated her life to the education of children.  She taught in the Wayne Trace Local School District (Payne and Grover Hill, OH) and was an Instructional Assistant in the Hamilton Southeastern Schools (Fishers, IN).  She became an Ordained Minister in the Church of the Nazarene to focus on Children and Family Ministries.  She served as Children’s Pastor at Castleton Church of the Nazarene (Indianapolis, IN), Fortville Church of the Nazarene (Fortville, IN), and Velocity (Brownsburg).  Her desire was to help parents become the spiritual leaders in their family.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Tim; daughter, Olivia of Fishers IN, and sons, Joshua and Caleb, both at home; parents, Lennis and Lula Saylor of Payne Ohio; brother, Brent (Cheryl) Saylor of Haviland Ohio; and sisters, Denise (Randy) Wright of Defiance Ohio and Joni (Randy) Wenninger of Haviland Ohio.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Arthur and Mary Saylor, Raymond and Edith Burkley, and nephew Benjamin Saylor.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Fortville Church of the Nazarene located at 701 S. Maple St., Fortville, Indiana. A funeral service will be officiated by Dr. Ron Blake on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at the same location.  Arrangements by Indiana Funeral Care.
